Day 4, Locality 1d

1d) The final roadside locality shows part of the sheeted dyke complex invaded by later dykes.  The lighter dykes show mainly one-sided chilling, and are reminiscent of the axis sequence SDC which was seen earlier.  These are cut by brown-coloured dykes, having different dip and strike and showing chilling on both sides.  These later, cross-cutting dykes are the result of transform magmatism.
