Day 3, The Sheeted Dykes

Once altitude has been attained, the path is relatively level although sometimes rough underfoot.  The underlying rocks here are predominantly sheeted dykes.  Like many of the outlying mountains of the Troodos Range it is composed of diabase and gabbro, which here are much more solid than elsewhere in the range.

But at last the summit is within striking distance!
