Field Trip to Fuerteventura
20 - 27 March 2019

A party of 26 members of the group went on a field trip to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. We went as part of  Jet2 package holiday and stayed in the Carlota Elbe Hotel in Caleta Furste on the East coast of the island. Alan Gray acted as our geology guide for the trip. We spent 4 days viewing the geology of the island and most of the group also took a tour to Lanzarote which included a visit to the Volcanic Park.
