Wednesday 16th September 2026	Day trip to Batsford Arboretum & Sezincote House & Garden Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds is home to a unique collection of some of the world’s most beautiful and rare trees, shrubs and bamboos spread across 60 acres. There is a garden shop, a plant centre and a Cafe. Sezincote House known as: “India in the Cotswolds”. This 200-year-old Mughal-style palace is the only authentically Indian house of its kind in northern Europe and was the primary inspiration for Brighton’s Royal Pavilion. We have a guided tour of the House, with free time to explore the garden and/or enjoy tea and cakes in the Orangery Tearoom. Departing from Malvern Splash at 09.30, arriving at Batsford for 10.40. Departing from Batsford at 13.05 and arriving at Sezincote at 13.15. Departing from Sezincote at 16.00 and arriving back in Malvern at 17.15. Cost £40 pp to include coach, driver’s tip and entrance to both venues. ( cost £25 if you have membership with Historic Houses – please bring your membership card) Previously, Stow on the Wold, was an option for the visit to Batsford Arboretum, but Sezincote looks very interesting and is conveniently close to Batsford. Wednesday 7th October	A Trip with our Local Historian Tim Bridges Join us for another exciting day out with Tim Bridges, visiting various small villages and churches around the Bridgnorth area. The provisional plans for the day are to visit a couple of churches in the morning in Quatt and Quatford, before stopping for lunch in Bridgnorth. Then visiting churches in St Leonards and Morville in the afternoon. Departing from Malvern Splash at 08.45 and returning to Malvern at approximately 17.30. Thursday 5th November	Birmingham Hippodrome Production of the musical CATS We have made a reservation to see this spectacular new production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber award winning musical which is coming to Birmingham for two weeks only. The booking is for the afternoon performance, starting at 14.00. All the seats are together in the stalls, we have 3 different price bands. The cost including the coach, drivers tip and theatre ticket is £49, £59 and £64, depending on the seat selection. Date TBC	A Guided tour of Upton Upon Severn We have been offered the opportunity to have guided tour of Upton upon Severn, by the local tourist office. The tour would start with an introductory talk at the Pepperpot Tower, followed by a a guided walk around Upton and a visit to the Tudor House Museum. There would be an opportunity to have lunch at one the many pubs in the town and a walk along the riverside. There is no charge for the guided tour. We would not arrange coach travel to Upton as the tour can be arranged for small groups of visitors.
