Cryptic Crosswords - An Introduction

There will be a short, six-session, course starting in September for people who want to learn how to do these crosswords. The sessions will explain the conventions and “rules” of cryptic crosswords, demystify the different kinds of clues and give members confidence to join the regular Cryptic Crosswords group which has been running for more than a decade.
It will meet over six weeks on Wednesdays, 2pm – 4pm from 9 Sept – 14 Oct 2026, in the Community Room of Malvern Town Council in Victoria Park. After the course it’s hoped members will feel able to join the long-standing Cryptic Crosswords group.
