We are a friendly group of enthusiastic silk painters of all levels, if you’re a beginner we will help you explore this lovely form of painting and celebrate your success. If you are experienced and want to take this up again we would love to see you at one of our meetings.
You can create whatever you would like from special cards for Christmas or Birthdays to wall hangings / scarf’s / cushion covers or pictures.

Silk painting is a unique technique of painting, either controlling colours by restrictive methods (Gutta) or by allowing the colours to ‘bleed’ across the fabric, the choice is yours. The use of salt gives a wonderful mottled effect too. We can also order you equipment (not that you need much to start- we do have some paints and brushes and silks).
Contact the group and come along and try your hand at Silk Painting.

Please note that we are a self help group without an instructor.
