We study the historical development of a particular society, chosen by members of the group. Each topic involves a series of lectures and may take up to a year or eighteen months to complete. However all lectures are self-contained with each session lasting 2 hours with a break for coffee and finishing with an open discussion. We have now completed studying The Histories That No One Knows. The following notes are now available: Crusades Cyprus Korea Poland Prussia Scandinavia Silk Roads Switzerland .
We have also completed studying British Social History 14th to 19th century and notes are available. We are now studying The Twentieth Century - Year by Year The group has increased over the years and now amounts to 50 or 60 regular members.
