We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 10.00-12.00.

We study the historical development of a particular society, chosen by members of the group. Each topic involves a series of lectures and may take up to a year or eighteen months to complete. However all lectures are self-contained with each session lasting 2 hours with a break for coffee and finishing with an open discussion. he group has increased over the years and now amounts to 40 or 50 regular members.
We have now completed studying The Twentieth Century - Year by Year. Suggested topics for next year include:
